amanda's poble nou

tonight was amanda's night. she has been working for months now on a photo exhibition of this area of town that we call poble nou (new town)...it is a great part of bcn. it a real community feeling. it is also going through a growth spurt with a new renovation project that the government has recently begun there....her photos were her way to capture a bit of the old poble nou. they are now in a cafe on the rambla there called cafe hemisferio. if you are in/near here come check it out! if not, you can see the photos on her flickr page following amanda's link to the right. amanda laughing...one of her favorite activities pilar, irene and mar...there to show support for the inaguration nicolau, clara and mar talking with amanda jonas showing off elephant. he is even making the official elephant noise. can you tell why he is one of my favorite people? caleb and matt lynn and lindsey me and mar
